Management
Second Street Media Solutions is co-owned and –operated by Doug Villhard and Matt Coen,
who have been both friends and business partners for more than 10 years. After meeting at Pulitzer Inc.,
where they gained insight into the unique challenges facing local media companies, Doug and Matt
founded SportsHuddle, a leading high school sports web site, which they sold to MaxPreps in 2000;
MaxPreps was in turn sold to CBS in 2007.
Doug went on to found UPICKEM, and Matt myCapture. In 2007, the two decided to combine their
companies into one in order to better serve their existing customers and better respond to new opportunities.
